On 1 December 2022, INO Nature had the opportunity to join as one of the presenters for a durian seminar, organised by Jabatan Pertanian Negeri Sembilan at the Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia (ILIM), Jelebu campus. The seminar was joined by a total of 88 durian growers in Negeri Sembilan. Also present was YB Dato’ Ir Haji Bakri bin Sawir, Exco Judicial Commission for Agriculture and Food Industry in Negeri Sembilan. The objective of the seminar, is to create platform for durian growers to gain practical knowledge about durian planting, which can be applied to their respective durian farms. Some of the topics covered during the seminar include durian farming on slopes, fertilization (presented by Benh Mayer and INO Nature), durian export criteria, use of pesticides in durian farming, durian grafting, mechanization of durian farms, and a hands-on durian varieties identification exercise.
